Hubby and I were looking at Daughter’s photos on Facebook the other night and were oohing and awwing over them. At the time, I was also IMing her from downstairs while she was on the upstairs computer. I was complimenting her on her skill and she was responding by downplaying her talent. She told me that I should see how many she deleted, to which I said that most photographers dump more photos than they keep. The skill was in recognizing which photos were good. She then said that she did no more than place the camera, turn on the timer, and pose. But, boy, does she know how to pose.
I told her I wanted to blog about her photography and she gave me permission to do so. Below are some of her photos:
All of the photos of Daughter are self-portraits, which simply amazes me. I had great difficulty choosing which photos to display here because I have so many favorites, but Epic Daughter was at the top of my list due to it’s unusual angle and great lighting, both of which make Daughter look strong.

Magnificent photos! What a beautiful and intelligent young lady. She is a strong and charismatic presence. And yes, she sure does know to pose. Thanks for sharing.

I really like the one with the shadow on the brick wall. Really nice.
Doesn’t hurt that “daughter” is smokin’ hot.

Wow, she does fantastic work! Looks like artistic talent definitely runs in the family.
I feel vindicated by her self-portraits. I told my mom I was going to try doing some, and she didn’t think it was possible to do them well. These shots prove otherwise!

Just beautiful. I also like the shadow one and love the way she has her hair done in the mirror. Gorgeous.

An interesting set, very enjoyable! I like “Curb” the best, because of the composition. “Fly” has a lot of potential – I would recommend her to move her objects off-center. Of the portrait shots (not really my genre), the one with the mirror is the favorite, it has a 1940ish glamor quality to it.
