Take a gander at this:
This sign greeted us in the bathroom of our hotel in Winona.
Really? Why not come right out and say, “Taking our towels home with you costs us money. Please don’t steal them. If you prefer hotel towels to your own, we’ll sell you some.”

Aha! A real good way to let people know the hospitality items aren’t theirs to take home!
I somehow don’t like towels provided at hotels. I always pack mine along. Wonder how people can take them home! Lol!
I don’t mind using the towels, Manoj, but who would want the alarm clock, pillows or bed throw?
I’ve seen signs like that before. Some of the higher end places also have a “catalog” where you can order linens and other items.
As for taking them I worked in the housing office in college and we once had some one take the bed with them when they checked out. That was very weird because they were army surplus style beds.
Funny that someone would steal a bed, Dee. Sounds desperate.
I hope the higher end hotels have catalogs that sell new linens, not used ones.
Yes new ones.
